Through purchasing, you create purchase orders for items to buy from suppliers. Purchasing provides a great deal of flexibility, allowing you to purchase inventory or non inventory items.

A Purchase Order can be created by using one of the following methods:

Manual Purchase Order
From Requisition
From Replenishment
