There may be several Leave conditions that
must be met for an organization. Users need to create leave records for each
condition to reflect the different leave scenarios in the organization.
For example, some employees may be
entitled to three weeks Annual Leave while others may be entitled to four
weeks.
Users need to create the
Leave Type and leave settings under Leave Codes.Then assign leave to employees from Leave
Allocation Menu or the Leave Generation.
Creating a leave code automatically
creates the corresponding pay code which is used in pay processing.
When
creating leave codes, users should consider the following:

Contractual
and legislative requirements for leave in the organization.

Differences
in the leave structures for salaried employees and waged employees.

Differences in the
treatment of leave for part-time and full-time employees.

Leave for
casual employees.
