Business Scenario
Company ABC has Employees who are hired on Contract for the First Term of 2 years [01/01/2019 - 31/12/2020].

The company does a performance review 1 month before the Contract Expiry. The New Contract is signed and new dates are given to the Employee with a Term of 1 year [01/01/2021 - 31/12/2021].

New Contract End Date is then updated on the Employee Profile

Issue
We are not able to capture the Contract Terms. For Example;
  1. Term 1: 01/01/2019 - 31/12/2020 [2 years]
  2. Term 2: 01/01/2021 - 31/12/2021 [1 year]
The Service History on Employee Profile will only show the Employees Start Date and Contract Expiry Date as shown in Figure 1.

  1. Added a detail view on "Service History" called "Contracts"
  2. Contracts are user-driven and can be Added/Edited and Deleted
  3. When extending the Employee Contract - a new entry is created in "Service History ~> Contracts"
  4. When adding or extending a "Service History ~> Contracts", the Employee Contract is extended
  5. We do not make any changes if the Service History is Inactive
