Subject: No Confirmation Received that Export From Crystal Reports Completed
Summary:    

When the export button is click from a Crystal report window and the export type selected, the exported file is generated.

The file is automatically saved to the user's Downloads folder but there is no confirmation message to say that the file has been saved.

This is causing a lot of confusion for users.

A confirmation that the file has been exported should be displayed.

Hi Philip, this is a setting on the browser. For Edge, see figure 1 below.  Is this something Support can enforce on all browsers?

PART A - Development work for this case has been completed.

1. The change will be available in version:13.03.0910

2. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes, and any other relevant information):

  1. Changed Report View, PDF, Daa Export and Email to open in a new tab instead of using a POPUP.  This will display the menu options to view downloads and will use the browser prompts.

3. Affected Areas:

  1. Reports menu - top menu buttons

4. The issue was caused by:

  1. Improvement to export visibility
