Subject: Guidance Required on FNPF Employer Contribution Rate Change
Summary:

Bula Vinaka Team LinkSOFTT,

Hope all is well.

With mandatory employer FNPF contribution rate deceasing from 10% to 8% from 1/08, please advise steps as to changes this on the system.

Please note we have 5 company files and companies have chosen both options to remain ay 10% and change to 8% so the rate changes will have to be at company level.

Also note that payroll cut-offs will be both in July and August 2026 periods.

Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Vinaka!

Kind Regards,
Rosinitoga Sokowasa
HR & Payroll officer

Hi Rosinitoga,

To change the superannuation fund rate, please follow these steps:
  1. Navigate to the "Payroll & HR Maintenance" menu
  2. Click on "Superannuation Fund"
  3. Expand the FNPF code
  4. Edit 'Employer Compulsory' to enter the new FNPF contribution percentage (8%), tick "Update All Active Employees," and save
  5. Edit 'Employer Excess Tax Exempt' to enter the excess contribution percentage, tick "Update All Active Employees," and save
  6. Follow the same steps for all companies
This should be done after the July month has been closed and before processing first pay in August.

Should you require further assistance, please reach out.

Regards
EBS Support Team
