We have done the following setup to test the overlapping time entries via File Manager Import

Setup Environment:

Create 3 new folders under Global Administration -> File Manager
  1. FileManager\TNA Timesheet\1004
    1. FileManager\TNA Timesheet\1004\Watch
    2. FileManager\TNA Timesheet\1004\Processing
    3. FileManager\TNA Timesheet\1004\Completed
Update the File Location under Integration Setup -> TNADevice -> TI001
  1. E:\WebSites\LinkSOFT-ChallengeEngineering\App_Data\FileManager\TNA Timesheet\1004\Watch
  2. E:\WebSites\LinkSOFT-ChallengeEngineering\App_Data\FileManager\TNA Timesheet\1004\Processing
  3. E:\WebSites\LinkSOFT-ChallengeEngineering\App_Data\FileManager\TNA Timesheet\1004\Completed
  4. Verified that process ESS021 is enabled and running.
  5. Under TNA Setup, Enabled Rule A001 & R013 - Refer Figure 1 below:
  6. Uploaded File TNASampleImport.csv, with status completed.

    Steps to create timesheet using different methods
    1. Method 1: Created TNA Timesheet from 01.06.2026 11.00 PM to 02.06.2026 8.00 AM - Successfully
    2. Method 2: Imported file Rosteredtimeimport.csv via File Manager into 1004\watch folder for time (02.06.2026 11.00 PM to 03.06.2026 8.00 AM)  - Did Not Import with; 
      1. Event log error: Procedure expects parameter '@statement' of type 'ntext/nchar/nvarchar'. Source: LT_ESS_TimesheetImport. This job will process again in 10 minutes. [Company: 1004]

    We will test this further with the Development team and update accordingly.

    Hi Sitla, I have had a look at your case and the issue is that your TNA file has invalid Datetime. 

    See line 2. You have entered a time as "7.30" instead of "7:30".  "7.30" is not a universally accepted time format. 

    After correcting the time from "7.30" to "7:30", I was able to import this file into the training environment.

    I will close this case as the issue is not with the LinkSOFT system.

    Procedure toimport file data will raise an error when the time format is invalid. 

    Error message: The conversion of a varchar data type to a datetime data type resulted in an out-of-range value.
