Subject: Grade Scaling to be Greyed Out under Emplyee Profile>Employee Maintenance>Grade History

Hi Sanjay,

Requesting if the above can be featured under Employee Profile>Employee Maintenance>Grade History.

Currently, we are able to add multiple grading but all grades are reflected in the same manner and it confuses the user as to which grade is currently in use. Graying our the one not in use will be a perfect reflection for users.

I have tested out the Start date and effective date for grade and both work fine depending on what scenario it is used for so there is no need to do any further work on that.

Let me know if we need any further testing.

PART A - Development work for this case has been completed.

1. The change will be available in version: 13.12

2. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes, and any other relevant information):

  1. Added "Active" column to Employee Grade Maintenance
  2. Added Row Color. GREY = NOT ACTIVE, ORANGE = Active but not effective, BLACK = ACTIVE and EFFECTIVE
  3. Added Display Order. NOT ACTIVE at the bottom of the list, followed by EFFECTIVE Date in DESCENDING Order
  4. Changed Process ESS035 to use ACTIVE Grades only. Note that if there are multiple active grades, the most recent Effective date will be used.

3. Affected Areas:

  1. Employee Grade Maintenance
  2. The process that assigns Grades to Employees

4. The issue was caused by:

  1. Correction to handle multiple grades
