Subject: | Enhancement to "User Pin" form in POS (Fleet Customers) |
Summary: | Hi Team, Fleet users are to enter the card pin to process payments. However, there are times when the user enters the pin and hits enter on the keyboard. Mileage had not been entered. Scenario - Cashier has swiped the card,
- User enters the card pin and hits enter on the keyboard
- The "User Pin" form closes,
- Mileage has not been entered.
In the above, the system fails to provide the correct mileage records, The following are options to avoid the case. - Change the design.Have the Mileage field first and than the pin. This way the cashier can put in the mileage and than request the customer to put in the pin.
- Do not change design. Make the Mileage field compulsory. Cashier can not proceed without putting in the Mileage
- Do not change the design. However prompt a message to the cashier example "Mileage has not been entered, do you wish to proceed". Here the cashier can choose between "Yes" and "No" and proceed with the transactions.
