On the OTGL TEST HQ Server, we generated the Customer Balance Listing with the below filters:

  2. Click on View PDF

The report has not generated yet and PDF view says Processing ... please wait. (865)

The report when viewed in Crystal, does not display anything at all.

PART A - Development work for this case has been completed.

1. The change will be available in version:12.40.0414

2. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes, and any other relevant information):

  1. Refactored the customer balance listing report.
  2. The report generates in less than 30 seconds using the large test database

3. Affected Areas:

  1. customer balance listing

4. The issue was caused by:

  1. Improvement

5. Notes

  1. When running the report as at Today, we can use the values stored in the customer and order tables to calculate the balance aging
  2. However, when running the report on a different date, the system needs to compute these values and will take longer to for the report to generate.
