Summary:    

Tested in version 11.4.1030

Create a product as below

  1. Product Code - 1001. 
    1. Set unit price as 2.3
  2. Set the scale as below
    1. Product Index - 02,04
    2. Price Index - 07,04

  3. Scan the barcode - 0100101068000

This throws an error "Product  0100101068000 does not exist at location "Retail"

Development work for this case has been completed.

The change will be available in version:11.4.1101

1. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information):

  1. Removed validation for item not found in location from scan procedure. This check is handled in the POS application.
  2. Changed part no returned to blank when the item is not found.

2. Affected Areas:

  1. POS Scale item scan

3. The issue was caused by:

  1. Validation message for item not found caused scale item to break.
