Subject: Unable to create Roster.
Summary:    

Hi Sanjay,

Please note that when we create a roster for a particular employees, we are getting an error as "existing shift overlaps...."

Note: There are no existing rosters and no leave for this employee.

The environment is setup in QA3 in LINKSOFT database.

Steps to replicate:

  1. Open Menu 331-8-1
  2. Select Roster as "001"
  3. Select Default ID as "DS"
  4. Select the Employee Range as E001 to E001.
  5. Click on Genrate.

Hi Sanjeet,

Can you look at this. I have checked the SQL trace and the procedure that checks for shift overlaps returns a 1. This indicates the record should be created.

Can you do a net meeting with alvis for this. There is a procedure that does this checking.
