Subject: Public holiday entitlement is not created for employees in certain scenarios
Summary:    

Hi Sanjay, 

Issue : Public Holiday entry is not created for employees who do not have a pay in the system.

Scenario

Employee X started worked on the  01/06/2018. There is a public holiday on 12/06/2018. First pay for the employee will be 29/06/2018.

When "Create Public Holiday" process is executed, Public Holiday entry is not created because there is no pay of the employee in the system.

1. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information):|

  1. Public holiday entitlement process looks at the last pay date for the employee and picks public holidays after that date. In this scenario, there wasn't any last pay date. We have extended this check to look at employee start date when previous pay does not exist.

2. The issue was caused by:

  1. Last pay date was not available for new employees.

    Hi Sanjay,

    This case has been successfully tested.

    Documentation is not required for the case.

    • Version 9.4 Beta 7
    • Database - LINKSOFT on QA1 - Demo
    Test Plan
    1. Create an employee with start date as 01/01/2018
    2. Create a public holiday in the system with date 03/01/2018
    3. Import time for the employee with dates 02/01/2018 and 04/01/2018.
    4. Execute process ESS001, Public holiday should be created under Time History. - Pass
    5. The above has been tested with use shift hours and defined hours.
