"To Email" Addresses are removed.


When Leave is applied, the approvers are not alerted via email. However, we can see the application on the system.

 

2. Error Message

Log Message: Email address removed based on the exclusion list. Email address is not an "Approved" user or does not have access to this company. Refer to Menu Company Administration -> Email Subscription". Email:xxx@yy.com. Company: 1003

Bula Team,

The following was done;

  1. Under Business Intelligence -> Email Logs
  2. Alert Email Log -> Created a Test email
  3. Clicked on Save
  4. The email Status was "Closed"
  5. Checked errors on event logs;
    "Email address removed based on exclusion list. Email address is not an "Approved" user or does not have access to this company. Refer to Menu Company Administration -> Email Subscription". Email: xxx@yyy.com. Company: 1002"

PART A - Development work for this case has been completed.

1. The change will be available in version:14.50.0320. Patch at this link.

2. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes, and any other relevant information):

  1. Corrected the issue where in a Multi-Company Environment, users are validated in each company where the validation process is running. This has been changed so that validation is partitioned to the company in context. e.g. Company '1001' will not validate company '1002'. Therefore, the Email validation process will now need to run in each company.

3. Affected Areas:

  1. Email validation
  2. Report Email Validation

4. The issue was caused by:

  1. The validation procedure was not partitioned by company.
