1. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information):|

  1. When the SQL User does not have access to read objects from MSDB database, we display a message "user does not have access"

2. The issue was caused by:

  1. User permissions were not checked before accessing the object.

    Hi Sanjay, 

    This case has been successfully tested.

    Documentation is not required in the case.

    Test Plan

    1. Created a database - LINKSOFTBETA10
    2. Restored the database - LINKSOFT9426.
    3. Disabled the "sysadmin" role from Server Roles for linkadmin.
    4. Log into ESS - Verify the process list. Job Status was - User does not have access.
    5. Enable the "db owner" role for "Linkadmin" for the LINKSOFT database and the msdb database.  Login into ESS, Job Status was updated to "Job is not created".
    6. Execute process ESS002. The job should run without errors.
