Justification
Below is the dimensions of the Receipt file and QR code from Linksoft and 2 other competitors. Review figure 1.1 below details of the QR code: - First Image is for Company Laucala Bay Pharmacy from Linksoft with sales of 1 item.
- Second Image for Company Amy Street Pharmacy Ltd is from Competitor 1 with sales of 3 items
- Third Image for Company C J S Supermarket Ltd is from Competitor 2 with sales of 5 items.
Note: Links Receipt has used up the most amount of paper. - Competitor 1 is using Zonerich Printer AB 88 H
- Competitor 2 is using Rongta Printer (Link also supplied the same)
- All 3 QR codes are scanned easily.

| Hi Sanjeet, The QR code size is shrinking by only 5mm on each side which is an insignificant size change. The cost of the QR code is around 3000 USD for 10,000 uses. The main problem here is that FRCS is trying to squeeze 800 characters in this QR code, therefore there is a limit on the size based on the resolution of the printer. We have delayed 9.4 release significantly and need more research on the current QR code we have to see what can be done. We can look at this as a Post 9.4 patch but most likely this will need to come out in 9.5.

| Development meeting: Alvis, Sanjay, Rashna, Vineet Vineet confirmed that this is a high priority in 9.5. As a result, the expected ETC has been set as 31/07/2018. This will be the first case addressed in 9.5 and released.

| Development work for this case has been completed. The change will be available in version: 9.4.8 1. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information):| - We have made the QR code to 4.5cm x 4.5cm size. This change is in the Receipt 80mm and Receipt A4.

| Hi Sanjay,
This case has been successfully tested.
Documentation is not required on the case.
- The QR code should be reduced in size to take a space of 4.5x4.5 - Pass
- The QR code should be reduced on A4 and 80 mm receipts - Pass
- The QR code should be successfully scanned - Pass - Used the FRCS scanner.
- The above has been tested with Cash Sale, Credit Sale, Layby, Returns, Reprints and Quotation.
