Subject: Unable to generate Leave Transaction Report with long Employee Names
Summary:    

Hi Sanjay,

Please refer to customer case 5551.

NFA had a setup as below. On menu 321 the following was set

  • First Name : MINISTRY OF WORKS
  • Middle Name : TRANSPORT&PUBLIC UTILI
  • Last Name : -FRANCIS KEAN

When the users generated the Leave Transaction Report for all employees, the following message occurred.

"String or Binary data would be truncated"

To solve the case. We shortened the employee name as 

  • First Name : MOW
  • Middle Name : TRANS&PUBLIC
  • Last Name : FRANCIS KEAN

Can we have menu 321 and the leave transaction report to support the same number of characters.
