1. Change Details: (Requester to fill in) New legislative requirement for Fiji's Employment Relations Promulgation Rule for Public Holiday. Rule 1 Fiji's Employment Relations Promulgation Rule all wage employees working a day before and after public holiday OR have approved leaves on a day before and after public holiday are entitled to the normal public holiday hours. The following are the requirements: - If an employee has a Time Entry SUBMITTED or APPROVED one working day before or After a Public Holiday we automatically create a time entry
- If an employee has a Leave Entry APPROVED or TAKEN and "NOT SOLD" one day before or after a Public Holiday we automatically create a time entry
- This change is only specific to employees marked as TIMESHEET employees
- The new entry record needs to be triggered when the above two conditions are met
- We create only one time entry per public holiday per employee
- Time entry status and hours are configurable.
- The approver is responsible to updating the hours before approving the time entry
- The Customer, Project and Activity is hard coded
- Change Time entry to prevent approving time entry with "0" quantity.

| Development completed. The following rules are in place in determining public holiday entitlement: - Public holiday has been setup in public holiday maintenance
- List of public holiday extracted to check for entitlement where holiday date is in future date of employee's last pay date
- Previous working day is determined from employee's default shift time control. Seg 1 hours must be greater than zero for the day to be a normal working day. Prevous day excludes non-working day or a public holiday
- Next working day determined from employee's default shift time control. Seg 1 hours must be greater than zero for the day to be a normal working day. Next day excludes non-working day or a public holiday
- Employee has worked on a day is determined by the following:
- Time entry in ESS exists with status of Submitted or higher
- Timesheet entry exists in TNA
- Timesheet exists in payroll timesheet menu
- New process is added under processes menu named "Create public holiday entitled time entries". By default this rule is disabled.

| Hi Shavindar/Rashna/Aarti Please get together and kindly test this case. There are scenarios written on the white board in the boardroom. You will need to add some more scenarios to that and commence test on this. I did not find any failures. Please test all the scenarios again and confirm your results.

| Hi Alvis. We have done the same testing using Device 4 this time ( i had used device 1 at first) and was unsuccessful.
I had used the same data type BUT when i run the public holiday procedure, there is no entry made under "time entry - view by day".
I had used exactly the same data which i had used for Device 1. The only difference was that for Device 4, a TNA database was made (LINKSOFTTNA) and configured in ESS for data import. Can you please look into this. Kind Regards Shavindar
