Hi Sanjay,

Issue: Leave emails are not sent to addresses set on the Document Templates: "Leave Notification Email Template" and "Leave Approval/Reject Email Template"/

Steps to Replicate

  1. Enable email scheduler.
  2. Set system mode as "Live".
  3. Enable Leave Notification Alert in configuration.
  4. Set HR email address in 233.
  5. Enter "To","CC" and "BCC" addresses on the "Leave Notification Email Template".
  6. Create a leave application for employee E003, set the approver as E001.

When the leave application is sent, email is only sent to Employee, Approver and HR email addresses.

Hi Rashna,  it seems like most HR alerts do not use document template email addresses. can you confirm this? or is it just leave alert?
I can resolve this for Leave but I would rather do this for all alerts if we are making this change.

Can you check all alerts and give me a list of alerts that have this issue. I will then resolve them all in this build.

Hi Sanjay, 

I have tested the case in 9.4 Beta 6.

Below is the results

  1. Create a  new template and set the "To, CC and BCC" addresses. The email was sent to all acounts.
  2. Tested existing templates " ESS Payslip Body and Pending Leave Approvals.". The email was sent to "To, CC and BCC" addresses.

Development work for this case has been completed.
The change will be available in version: 94GA

1. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information):|

  1. Added document template email addresses to the ESS Leave ALert system

2. The issue was caused by:

  1. Document Emails were not included previously

    3. Next Step

    1. The change has been applied in the QA1 environment. Please validate

    Test Plan

    1. For document template "Leave Notification Email Template" and "Leave Approval/Reject Email Template" set the To ( karishma@linktechnologies.com.au), CC ( vineshwar@linktechnologies.com.au) and BCC addresses ( aarti@linktechnologies.com.au).  - Pass
    2. Create a leave entry for employee E003. Notification should be sent to the HR Address, To , CC and BCC addresses - Pass
    3. Approve the leave application for the employee. Notification should be sent to the HR Address, To , CC and BCC addresses - Pass
