Issue: Unable to access a menu after the access for its submenu has been disabled.

Steps

  1. Disable the access for "Cost Update Utility - 519-3".
  2. Log into BO
  3. Go to 519
  4. Go to "Utilities --> Cost Update".
  5. The system prompts user does not have access to the menu - This is correct.
  6. Do not close 519.
  7. Click on the list of products or try to search for a product. The system still prompts message user does not have access.

Next Step

Please validate the feature for all submenus in the system on the following screen.

1. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information):|

  1. Corrected the security check for Product cost on the "519-Product Master" screen
  2. This correction was then applied to all the Utility menus in "519-Product Master", "321-Employee Profile" and "421-Employee Profile" screens

2. The issue was caused by:

  1. Security check was incorrectly implemented on the Utility screens.
