Subject: New Feature - Hourly email notification for "Sales by Category" report
Summary:    

Hi Team, 

One of the clients has requested to allow the system to email "Sales By Category" report on a hourly basis.

  • Specific user should receive this notification.
  • Notification should only be fired at operating hours.
  • Users should be able to unsubscribe from the email.

We are making the following changes:

  1. Combining Link Reporter and Web Reporter so that any report can e scheduled via the Web.
  2. Removing report maintenance from Reporter
  3. Removing user maintenance from Reporter
  4. Adding 'Parameter selection dependency" in web reporter
  5. Adding "Role Maintenance" to web framework
  6. Combining "Code" and "Description" search into a single search
  7. Adding search to Web Reporter
  8. Converting all "look-up" scripts to functions

The above changes should allow you to schedule reports through web-reporter.

QA for product and Patch Releases
Step 1 - Developer to system test changes until not issues are found - Alvis and Sanjay to sign off on System Test
Step 2 - Product expert allocated by Consulting Manager for Product QA.
               Consulting Manager to allocate resource
               Consulting Manager to sign off on UAT and Generic Test

STEP 1 - DETAILS OF QA can be entered in case comments. Summary to be maintained in the table below.

    Hi Rashna, can you test "Sales by category" report and pass the case as per requirements case header.

    log a separate case as a change request in report schedule to handle time portion.
