Subject: Changing the leave type for leave entries does not update the allocation
Summary:    

Hi Sanjay,

I have tested the case with version 8.2.9.001

Unprocessed leave is removed from the Transaction Report when leave code is changed.

Steps to Replicate

  1. In the Demo Database - Login into ESS as Sanjeet.
  2. Apply for AAL of 8 hours.
  3. Generate the Leave Transaction Report applied leave would show on the report. Refer to Figure 1. Shows Unprocessed leave for AAL.
  4. Under Leave Application in ESS, edit and set the Leave Type to ALIEU for the above leave transaction.
  5. Generate the Leave Transaction Report the unprocessed leave is removed from the report. See Figure 2.
  6. Hence, the Leave Transaction screen shows the leave applied, however, there are no records on the report.

The issue was caused by the LeaveAllocationID field that was not updated when leave was edited from ESS.

We have resolved this issue.
