Status: Closed
Subject: Modify message at login to indicate that the user is not approved when logging in BO/POS
Summary:

Application Version: 9.5 Alpha 1

Current Behaviour:

  1. Create a Demo Database.
  2. The admin account is approved in the system by default. Un-tick "Approved" for user admin.
  3. Log in WEB using the admin account. The system prompts message: Your account has not yet been approved by the site's administrators. Please try again later
  4. Log in BO or POS using the admin account. The system prompts message: Invalid Username/Password

Improvement

  • Modify the message to indicate the user is not approved.
  • The current message "Invalid /Password" is not very clear as clients would get frustrated validating their credentials.

Thanks
Rashna

The login failure message is generic to prevent sending specific information to invalid users.

The message "Invalid Username/Password" means one of the following:

  1. Username is invalid
  2. Password is invalid
  3. User account is not approved
