Subject: Items deleted from a KIT product is not replicated
Summary:    
1. Description: 
     When a product is deleted from KIT product, this is not replicated to the other branches. This has been replicated on QA4.
  • LINKSOFTHQ parent database.
  • LINKSOFTBR1 Branch 1
  • LINKSOFTBR2 Branch 2
Removed items REST035 from KIT product REST036 at LINKSOFTHQ. This was not replicated to LINKSOFTBR1 AND LINKSOFTBR2

a. For KIT Product REST036, Delete item Rest035 from its list
b.Review this at other Branches to see if this change has been replicated.

     Removing items from the KIT is not replicated

The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information): 
 The issue with this replication process is that the primary key on the kit item table is changed. This prevents us from knowing what changes to propagate to other servers. 

The way to prevent this would be to disallow the user from changing the kit item. To make a change you can delete and add the changed item.

We have also changed back-office screen to disallow users from changing the kit items.

The following changes were done to resolve this issue:

  1. Changed procedure LT_REPL_DATA_OUT_INSERT to handle records that are deleted from the database. These records send the key fields in replication for other branches to delete the record.
