Subject: POS Login Screen does not retain the saved Station layout
Summary:    

POS Login Screen - Station changes to the 1st option in the list. The station lookup should retain its value when it gets focus.

If the saved Station Layout is invalid, ask the user to choose a station.

Test cases:

  1. Change the Default Station in the "App.config" to an invalid value.
    1. Log into POS without changing the Station Layout. There should be a prompt saying "Station Layout is invalid, Choose a valid Station Layout".
  2. Open the login Screen to POS. Choose the 3rd Station layout. Log into POS. The default Station layout saved should be the third one on the list.
    1. Log out of POS
    2. Open the POS Login Screen and click on the "Station Dropdown". The selected value should be the third item in the Station List

PART A - Development work for this case has been completed.

1. The change will be available in version: 12.32.0303

2. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes, and any other relevant information):

  1. When the station layout is initially loaded, the value is displayed from the APP.CONFIG file, pre-configured value. 
  2. When the Station layout is changed, we match the predefined (Or last valid Login) value to the list of available stations. If one exists, we select this, otherwise, we select the first one.

3. Affected Areas:

  1. POS Login form - Select a station

4. The issue was caused by:

  1. Default not applied in the original design

  2. Load POS, station selected should be "General".
  3. Login and Verify

When the Station layout is changed, we match the predefined (Or last valid Login) value to the list of available stations. If one exists, we select this, otherwise, we select the first one.
  1. On the POS Login screen, change the station to "Electronics".
  2. Login into POS, Fast keys should show electrical items.
  3. Log out and Load POS, the station should be defaulted to "Electronics" - Last Valid Login.
  4. Login and void the station "Electronics".
  5. Load POS Login page, this should be updated with the station first on the list - Bar
