Subject: | Duplicate organisation code is created when data is imported from 9.4 to 9.5 - Helpdesk. |
Summary: | Hi Alvis, Can you please advise if the current functionality is valid. - A NEW database has a default organization code.
- Navigate to Company Administration -- Organisations
- Code = 1001
- Description = Your Company Name.
- The 9401 helpdesk database also had an organisation code as 1001. Description as "Link Demo".
- Before importing the data, I updated the description of the organization in 95 to "Link Demo" also.
- However, when the data was imported two entries were created for the organization with code 1001. Refer to Figure 1.
I know we have the ability to disable one entry, but the duplicate entries at the first place are not valid.
