Summary:    

Dear Team,

The Audit Data Report is not filtering based on date. This report only generates data when the date is filtered.

Compared to prior versions, the report was generating filtered and unfiltered by date. It is important to have the report working based on date because Audit can be based on so many tables (in fact all the tables) that will lead to many number of pages but sometimes users only want to see details based on a certain date or month.

This has been tested in Demo Database in version 933.

Kindly take a look. Requesting if an update in version 933 could be provided.

When date from/to filters was not specified, the system was using the today's date.

We have removed this conversion from the report.

Updates will be in version 9.4

Can we get a patch for this on 9.33. We are using this report for most of the clients. The one we have upgraded to 9.33 are being affected.

I have upgraded the database using the link provided but the report still did not generate with the date filter.

Environment Details:

  1. QA: 4
  2. DB: LINKSOFT_AUDIT

Development work for this case has been completed.

1. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information):|

  1. Changed procedure LT_SAA_RPT_AuditData and corrected date conversion/filter to use date format 112 when comparing dates.

2. The issue was caused by:

    Verified the following:

    1. Setup audit on a table using SQL Tools.
    2. Updated data from the application for the related table.
    3. Ran Audit Data Report and verified results for different dates.
