Subject: Improvement to the body of "Payslip" emails
Summary:    

Hi Team, 

I have verified the case in 816.

When Payslips are emailed from ESS, the body of the email is configurable under "Page.EmailPayslips.Body" .

The configuration is a "text field" where the set content  is standard in for all employees.

However, in version 7504, emails were sent via Backoffice and the body was detailed to include the following information.

  • Employee Name
  • Pay Number
  • Pay Date 

Example 

Dear "Employee Name"

Attached find your payslip for "Pay No. #" dated "Pay Date "

Payroll Admin

Suggested Improvement, "Page.EmailPayslips.Body"  to include HTML tags to allow users to outline the body of emails.

 2 Emails should be successfully received by the employees 
 3 The layout and content of the email should be correct

Move the email payslip body from configuration to document template.

Email payslip has been transposed to use the standard report email framework. refer to case 8792.

QA for product and Patch Releases
Step 1 - Developer to system test changes until not issues are found - Alvis and Sanjay to sign off on System Test
Step 2 - Product expert allocated by Consulting Manager for Product QA.
Consulting Manager to allocate resource
Consulting Manager to sign off on UAT and Generic Test

STEP 1 - DETAILS OF QA can be entered in case comments. Summary to be maintained in the table below.

Tested case in QA1 with 818 Beta 1. Database LINKSOFT _ DEMO

Note .

  1. The body of the email is set under "Document Template"
  2. The Template should be attached on the PaySlip reports on "Report Maintenance"

  3. If system test passes, assign case to Consulting Manager for UAT
  4. If UAT Passes, Assign case for Documentation or close case
