Subject: Allow Time /Leave Entry and allowances to be entered through a single screen with approval
Summary:    
Section A - Describe what the request/issue is about 
  1. Company ABC has employees that work on multiple sites with multiple shifts in a day.
  2. Employees do not report to the office on a daily basis therefore they do not have access to the system and TNA devices.
  3. Managers do the time and leave entries on behalf of the employees and allocate respective allowances for the day based on employee movement.

Section B - Provide a Test plan - List out at least two scenarios that will be used to verify.
  1. There should be a new menu in the menu group "Pay Processing" called "Attendance / Claims Approvals"
  2. The "Attendance Approvals" screen should have all attendance Entries for Time, Leave, and Allowances.
  3. The approver should be able to create a time, leave, and add multiple lines of allowances from the Attendance Approval screen by the following redirects:
    1. For Time Entry redirect to Time Management> Time View-Day Form
    2. For Allowance entry redirects to Time Management> Time View-Day Form (Claim Entry).
    3. For Leave Entry redirect to Leave Management> Leave Application Form
Note:
  1. Follow the current workflow approval process.
  2. Create a role for Menu - "Attendance Approvals"

Hi Sitla, 

Can you confrm your request is to allow users to easily add the following data into a single form:

  1. Menu: "Time Management ~> TimeView Day"
  2. Menu: "Leave Management ~> Leave Applications"

If so, I can create a form that has two tabs that will allos the user to add these records.

Alternatively I can add "File Upload" so this data can be uploaded.

Hi guys,

I have not received a response to comment 4, therefore we are going ahead with adding an upload file for menu "Time Management ~> Time Entry - Day" (Refer to comment 4).

This will conclude this case as we have upload functions for Time, Leave and Claims.

  1. Added a new File Upload function for menu "Time Management ~> Time View - Day"
  2. The upload file format is shown in Figure 1 below. A sample file is included with the LinkSOFT installation.
