Subject: | Issue from Case 9502 - VMS licence is validated against the number of stations configured for VMS |
Summary: | Hi Sanjay, The following development was made in case 9502 VMS licence is validated against the number of stations configured for VMS. You can disable a VMS setting using menu “Point of Sale ~> Station Base Config”, Expand the configuration and adjust the setting. This can be done for machines that are no longer in use and are using up a VMS Licence. Test Results - Set the VMS license to "Max User" to 2. Refer to Figure 1.
- Configure ESDC for only 1 station.
- Login to POS, the system prompts an error. Refer to Figure 2. Users are unable to access POS at all.
Test Environment - Version 9.5 Alpha 1
- Database - on LINKSOFT-LICENSE-LINKFJ QA4

| Unable to reproduce the issue. Keep in mind that an environment can have both ESDC and VSDC configurations. Can you verify that both these settings are turned off?. In the screenshot, you have only shown ESDC. |
