Hi Sanjay, 

I have tested the case with 9400 Beta 2.

Issue: - Tax is not calculated on Price Class items.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Create a price class as PC001. Price Break 1 as $5.60 and Tax Code as TAXIN.
  2. Set the rate for TAXIN as 9%.
  3. Tag PC001 to item PNT01.
  4. Load item PNT01 on POS Grid.
  5. Price is calculated as $5.60, but Tax is 0.

Test Environment

  • Database - LINKSOFT on QA1
  • Application is on QA1

    Hi Alvis, 

    This case has been successfully tested.

    However, the issue exists in the prior versions. Requesting if we can get a patch for version 933 and 816.

    OTGL is on version 816 and they are not going to upgrade soon.

    Test Environment

    • Version 9400 Beta 3
    • Database - LINKSOFT on QA1. Demo DB.
    • Application on QA1
    • OS - Windows

    Test Plan.

    1. Create a price class as PC001. Price Break 1 as $5.60 and Tax Code as TAXIN.
    2. Set the rate for TAXIN with VAT-  9%. ECAL - 10 and STT -6.
    3. Tag PC001 to item PNT01.
    4. Load item PNT01 on POS Grid.
    5. Tax should be calculated as $0.70 - Pass

    Hi Rashna,

    We will not be releasing a patch for 816. Please upgrade the client to the current version.

    We will close this case as it has passed UAT.
