We have recently added a new field in Sales by Category Report as Account Code. This was added to be able to reconcile the Cost of Goods Sold Between Link and Jiwa. However, the account code populated in this field shows the Asset account code of the posting account and not the COGS account. I am unsure why asset account is there and not really sure what report reconciliation will be affected if we remove that, hence requesting if we can add another field as COGS account and rename current one as Asset Account. 

The justification for this Change:

I want to be able to reconcile my total cost at Sales by Category report with the total cost displayed at the POS Jiwa Cost of Goods Sold Report for each account.

Total cost highlighted in this report to be reconciled with the POS Cost highlighted in Figure 1.2 below using the account code

Figure 1.2 POS Jiwa Cost of Goods Sold Report: POS Cost highlighted in this report to be reconciled with the cost in Sales By Category report as highlighted in Figure 1.1 above.

Requested change for the Sales By Category Report:

1. Rename current Account Code Filter to Asset Account Code
2. Add another filter as COGS Account Code. This should populate the COGS account codes from the Posting accounts.

The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information):

1. Added COGS filter to the report.

This case has been successfully tested in Version 8130.00 Beta 1 in QA2, please find below image for reference purposes showing the amended and additional filters (1,2,3&4):
