Subject: Approver is still able to view employee profile despite being marked as "disabled" in the workflow
Summary:    

Bula Vinaka Team,

Our clients who are doing UAT on version 10.41 have encountered an issue, whereby one of the approvers have been marked as disabled but when that approver logs into ESS, he is still able to view all those employees.

This has been tested in the demo database of version 10.41.

Steps to Replicate:

  1. Login into ESS as an admin user
  2. Navigate to Company Administration --> Approval Workflow
  3. By default one workflow is there as "Managers"
  4. Expand that and disable user "Alvis" 

  5. Login out
  6. Login as "Alvis" 
  7. Click on My Profile - expand the employee list - Alvis is still able to see the employee list

Kindly requesting if a patch can be provided for this issue for version 10.41.

Hi Alvis, 

I have verified this case, disabling a user in a workflow does not remove access for employee Profile, Leave, Timesheet and HR menus.

Development work for this case has been completed.

The change will be available in version: 10.143 & 11.0.0318

1. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information):|

  1. Removed access for users when they are disabled in the workflow

2. The issue was caused by:

  1. The disabled flag was not checked when getting a list of employees in the workflow.
