Subject: Changes to Link Licensing
Summary:    
  1. Changes to Link Licensing:

    1. Added a detail view on Licence form to show user and employee count details on each Licence Groups. The count of users is also displayed on the Top licence level.

    2. Backoffice login is based on Named User. This includes POS Login

    3. Link Reporter - Licence is not checked

    4. LinkWEB  is based on “named user”. Each menu is linked to a Licence Group (HEL, HRM, POS, FMS, REC). When a user is allocated to a role, which has access to a Licence group, the user count is increased by 1. E.g. if you have 5 users allocated to FMS licence group, the FMS user count will be 5.

    5. TNA licence is validated against the number of TNA employee mappings

    6. REPL is validated against the number of Server Connections

    7. VMS licence is validated against the number of stations configured for VMS. You can disable a VMS setting using menu “Point of Sale ~> Station Base Config”, Expand the configuration and adjust the setting. This can be done for machines that are no longer in use and are using up a VMS Licence.

Notes: Roles in 222 define the license module for the name user in web.

  4. For users "Admin", "Alvis" and "Rashna" set the POS role. - Pass
  5. Set the role for "Jerry" as POS User. The license should be invalid - Pass
