  1. Rollover period 2 for the year 2018
  2. The process ESS029 executed successfully
  3. Period 2 was marked as closed. Refer to figure 1.
  4. Verified the Pay Control menu, the period was still reflected as 2. Refer to figure 2.

Upon rollover, the active period on the Pay Control menu should have changed to 3

Instructions:
Before Development is started, ensure the following is ready:
1. The case has a clear definition of the issue or change required
2. A test plan is in place
3. Change has been approved by Sanjay

  1. Added validation when closing the current period while there are other periods in the calendar that are invalid. A message will be raised to inform the user to correct the period.

  1. In this case, the pay calendar set up for the year 2012 is invalid. Invalid calendar entries are displayed in RED.

Pay Calendar validation failed. Check the following: 1. "Start Date" must be the first day of the month. 2. "End Date" must be the last day of the month. 3. Next period "Start Date" must be 1 day after the current period "End Date". 4. All years in the pay calendar needs to be valid. One year that is invalid is Year: 2007 Period: 1

  1. Correct the calendar date for January 2007. The record should not be red anymore.
  2. Close Period 1, 2021.
  3. Validate that the "Active" period is updated to 2 under "Pay Control".
