Subject: Cash Management - Bank Reconciliation balances but the Reconciliation Report shows a difference
Summary:

This problem occurs mainly when you key in an OPENING balance into the EPICOR Bank Reconciliation screen.

The Reconciliation Report uses the history data to compute the OPENING balance, so if you do not Journal the OPENING Balance, you will end up with a difference in the Report

The way to resolve this is to create an entry in the CMINPDTL table that is dated prior to the first Reconciliation date. This will not affect the current reconciliation and will provide the RECONCILIATION report with the required balancing entry. Script for Epicor 7.3.5 is below:

Make Sure you change the Bank Accounts and the Julian Dates before running this insert.

-- Bank Account 00810A35

Insert into cminpdtl

(rec_id, trx_type, trx_ctrl_num, doc_ctrl_num, date_document,

description, document1, document2, cash_acct_code, amount_book,

reconciled_flag, closed_flag, void_flag, date_applied, cleared_type,

date_cleared)

Values

(0, 2111, 'OB_A35_20111102', 'Open Bal', 734000,
