Subject: Issues with setting employee rate when creating a new employee
Summary:    

Problem : When creating a new employee on 421 after searching, details of the prior employee is not cleared.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open screen 421
  2. Search for Sanjay
  3. Click on Add New
  4. Go to the Personal Details tab, data is not empty

Hi Rashna,

I am not able to understand what the issue here is. Please provide screenshots showing what the issue is.

Can you set the rate of the employee by closing and opening the rate screen again?

We are not able to replicate the issue in this case. Please test in Beta 1.

Steps to reproduce failed scenarios:

Issue 1
  1. Search for employee E001 on menu 421.Do not clear the search
  2. Click on “New Record”
  3. Go the “Position Detail” tab, data already exist from E001 profile. Refer to Figure 1 and 2.

Issue 2

  1. Create new position as "T001"
  2. Search for employee E001 on menu 421.Do not clear the search
  3. Enter below details
    1.  First Name
    2.  Middle Name
    3.  Last Name
    4. Select – Country, State and City
    5. Birth Date
    6. Ethnic
    7. Super and Tax ID
    8. Set the start date 01/01/2018
    9. Shift ID is already selected as “DS”
    10. Select position as “T001”
    11. Select Grade ID 7 and save
  4. Click on save
  5. Rate Update screen opens. Click on Ok.
  6. When the “Rate” screen opens it loads the rate details for employee E001.

    This issue is caused by the search text in the "Find" text box. When a new employee was created, it wasn't showing in the left panelist.

    The issue has been resolved in beta 2 by removing the search text when the new button is clicked.
