Subject: Ship Date to be open in Inventory Transfer Module
Summary:    

Bula Vinaka,

Currently, the ship date on the shipping screen defaulted to the current machine date.

Refer below:


We request for the "Shipped Date" to be open.

Consider the following scenario:

  1. The request is made at 4 pm on 14/06/2019 from Branch A to Branch B
  2. The Supervisor at Branch B generates the Transfer/Delivery Report and gets the shipment ready. 
  3. By the time the shipment is ready, its past working hours. 
  4. Supervisors here verify the shipment and manually enter in the Transfer/Delivery Report
  5. When the shipment is received on 14/06/2019 at Branch B
  6. Come 15/06/2019, then the supervisors enter this shipment in the system, However, the supervisor is unable to change the Shipped Date. 
  7. For Branch A, the Received Date is open and thus the supervisor is able to change the date from 15th to 14th (to record the actual date on which the shipment was received)

 Now, in the system, the shipped date becomes greater than the received date. Having the "Shipped Date" open will help cater to such scenarios and also enhance the system.
