Summary:    

Hi Team, 

CAAF would like Link to develop a “new” report which XXXXXcts the following details only.

 

Staff Name                         Leave Balance in Days                                   Amount $ (leave liability)

Xxxx                                      xxxxx                                                                                    xxxx

 

This report should be XXXXXctable as at any date – similar to that of “Leave Liability report”.

 

We understand that the “Leave Liability report” currently provides the above data to some extent. However, lot of work is required to bring it to our required format.

 

We only want the three columns as stated above.

 

This is required for our board meeting which is held monthly.

 

Note: The existing ‘Leave Liability report’ should not be altered. The above report is an additional/new requirement from CAAF.

  1. Added a new report "Leave Liability Summary (show data)" in ESS
  2. The report shows employee name, leave (days, amount), projected (days, amount), Total (days, amount) columns.

As per the case header, the report should only have the following details. Client does not want to perform any formatting to achieve the below details.

Hi Rashna,

Can you get the exact requirements on what columns from the leave liability report are the clients using for this report?

For example, you have specified leave balance days however in leave liability report has three columns (leave, projected, total) which one do we use in this report?

If an employee has sick leave, annual and other leaves, the report is adding all the balances together since you have not specified leave type column.

Hi Alvis

We have discussed this with the client. Below is a snap that explains the clear requirement.

  1. Leave Balance needs to be in days. This is the sum of Actual Balance + Projected Leave Balance at a particular date
  2. Leave Balance for employees will be grouped by Leave Type. All leave balance should not be added together to one.
  3. Leave Report Filters to be same as Leave Liability Report
