Link Technologies has release Helpdesk version 8.0 which contains the following new and improved features:

    1. Significant improvements to the user interface
    2. Improved role based security allowing administrators to choose roles and assign granular level security.
    3. Dynamic menu based on user access so that users can only see what they have access to
    4. Added attachments to all pages allowing multi document attachments for each record
    5. Consistent use of attachments
    6. Added ability to handle multi company environment
    7. Added quick notes for easy notes and reminder entries
    8. Added event viewer to review system issues
    9. New calendar feature allows you to schedule and roster staff
    10. Improved Business Intelligence pivot analysis with user definable chart formats
    11. Improved formatting on user alerts
    12. User configurable alerts and alert frequency

Version 8.0 is designed to deliver platform compatibility with Windows 2012 servers, SQL server 2012.
