Summary:    

Hi Sanjay, 

I have tested the case with 9.2.5

Issue  

  • GL Integration Report is not balanced.
  • Debit entry is not created for "HSUPE" and "HGOVL". Refer to Figure 1.

Setup

  • Database - CLIENT-XXXXX-LINSKOFT.
  • Server - QA4
  • Application on QA1
  • Payrun 2250
  • Employee - 5545

The following was done:-

  1. Upgraded XXXXX Group database from version 8.13 to 9.25
  2. Created a Weekly pay in the upgraded database , Payrun 2250.
  3. Verified the GL report, it was not balanced.
  4. We have verified the setup on 233 and on paycodes for "HSUPE" and "HGOVL". Configuration is same before and after upgrade.

Hi Rashna,

Reddy group customization was splitting Super and Government levy by cost centre. The journal was missing the debit side entry. I have included this change in beta7.

Hi Alvis,

The issue mentioned in the case has been resolved, but the integration files of before and after update do not match. The file are attached to the case.

Steps to Replicate:

  1. Restored current DB as:
  2. Installed V813 in QA4
  3. Created WKLY pay for 2 employees – 5545 & 6806
  4. Updated pay and thus generated GL file
  5. Restored current DB as:
  6. Upgrade this to V926
  7. Created WKLY pay for 2 employees – 5545 & 6806
  8. Updated pay and thus generated GL file

Note: Both the pay’s GL report has matched and balanced.

  • V: 927
  • ESSWeb: 10.0.0.14/ESS
Issue in comment 7 has been resolved. The fie has been compared with an older version. No issues encountered this time. Please review and proceed to closing this case.
