Summary:    

Hi Alvis, 

Issue: Users are unable to resend failed emails from "Email Log".

Steps to Replicate

  1. In ESS, navigate to Email Log
  2. Add a new email.
  3. Email Address - rashna@linktechnologies.com.a (Email Address is Incorrect).
  4. Enter the "Subject" and "Body" as - "Test Failed Emails".
  5. Save the entry. Entry is added to the log.
  6. However, email is not sent since the email address was incorrect. Status of the email updated to "Retry".
  7. Status of the email entry then was updated to "Failed", with the option to edit and resend the email.
  8. Edit and correct the email address and save the details. However, the status of the email is stil Failed.

The following changes are required in Email Log to send an email:

  1. Add a checkbox for failed emails
  2. Add button "Send Email" at the bottom of the page that will change the status of failed email to Ready.

    Test Results Summary

    7. Edited the email entry. Updated the email addressed. Selected the email via the checkbox and resend emails by clicking on the "Send Email" button. Email should be sent without errors - Pass
    8. Verified the notes was updated to "User selected to resend"
