This forum will assist you on how to setup Plastic Levy in the Link POS System.

1. Navigate to menu 519 Product Master

2. Create a new product with description as Plastic Levy

3. Enter the appropriate Category and Sub-Category. In our example we have created a separate Category and Sub-Category as GOVTL-Government Levy

4. Set status as Non Quantity Bearing

5. Save this record.

6. If you have the Auto insert location configuration set to Y, you will notice all your POS locations would have been already added to the Product. If this is set to N, you would need to manually add your respective location.

7. Change the tax code to EXEMPT for all your location.

8. Tag your respective account code if your POS integrated is integrated to Financials .

9. Enter Product price as $0.10
