Hi Sanjay, 

I have tested the case in QA3 in the LINKSOFT database.

Steps to Replicate

  1. Login in POS
  2. Click on "Credit tab" on the POS screen. Customer POSCASH.
  3. Load an Item 
  4. Click on Save [F2]
  5. The Customer screen opens to select the customer.
  6. Do not select the customer click on Close. The Customer Search screen closes.
  7. The message appear " Are you sure you want to complete this credit sale". Click on Yes
  8. The Sale is processed.

The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information):

  1. We have added a validation on credit sale for POSCASH customer.

As a workaround, you can mark the POSCASH customer as Inactive, this will prevent credit sale.

Hi Alvis, we can still process credit sales under POSCASH customer in 810.01.

Same steps to replicate as  indicated in the header.

Hi Rashna, I have not released a patch for UAT testing as yet. This will be done once all cases are marked for UAT.

I have tested the case in the Demo database in QA3. Below were the steps done for testing;

- Click on "Credit Tab" on the POS screen
- Customer is POSCASH
- Load an Item 
- Click on Save [F2]
- The Customer screen opens to select the customer
- Do not select the customer but click on Close. The Customer search screen closes
- Message appears "Are you sure you want to complete this credit sale"
- Click on Yes
- Message appears "Customer POSCASH cannot have CREDIT SALE. Please contact your supervisor"
