Subject: Build MODULE System Health Check procedures and add to schedule
Summary:    

We have built a procedure (LT_POS_SystemHealthCheck) with duplicate check for JIWA Invoice transactions.

When doing support, if you find potential issues, add to this health check procedure.

Create a similar procedure for other modules so that we can manage potential issues. I have added a template below.

The health check should insert an entry into the LOG table which will be emailed to our support team. The check should log the result of the check as follows:

  1. DUPLICATE FOUND + {Some information that will allow the user to know where to look} - CRITICAL
  2. No Duplicates Found - INFORMATION

Hi Alvis,

When I run the System Heath Check in ESS. This is in QA1, Database - LINKSOF

I get the following message in the Event Log.

Invalid object name 'sys.dm_os_volume_stats'.

Hi Rashna,

The SQL Server in QA1 is "Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (RTM) - Service Pack 1". This feature is not available in this version of SQL. You can upgrade SQL server service pack in QA1 to get this feature to work.
