Hi Sanjay, The system is incorrectly calculating selling price for products which have the following characteristics:
1. Tagged as “TAXEX” 2. Have minimum profit percentage set Consider the following:
1. Create a product as PT001, refer to figure 1. 2. In order to achieve minimum profit of 20%, the system will not allow the product to be sold at anything lower than $7.94: (Cost + Markup: Based on the minimum profit: 6.07 *.20 = 7.28 * 109 = $7.94) 3. Since the product is tagged as TAXEX, the selling price of $7.55 does not include the 9% vat. Therefore, adding that, makes the selling price as $8.23 ($7.55 * 1.09(VAT)) 4. When this item is loaded onto POS, the system some how disregards the fact that $7.55 is exclusive of tax and sells it at $7.94 to achieve the minimum profit. Figure 1:
This is wrong because the VIP price of this product is $8.23 which already achieves the minimum profit markup.
The environment is setup in QA2, DB: LINKSOFT (demo database).
This is an issue faced by our client: GHC, therefore we are requesting an urgent patch for v8.12
Kindly take a look. Regards
Aarti.
