Hi Rashna,

I have checked the database and there is a timsheet rule enabled "Automatically create roster for Friday [FRI] and Saturday [SAT]". This rule changes the shift from 24 to FRI or SAT.

All you need to do is configure these shifts so that overtime is not calculated.

Hi Alvis,

I have verified the shift configurations the under the 24-hour shift the whole 24 is allocated under Segment 1.

With reference to case 6819.

The initial requirement was stated to include a 24-hour shift where normal hours are paid to the employee for the 24 hours.

Since, the client was not using Roster, the rule  'Automatically create roster for Friday (FRI) and Saturday (SAT)" was created.

Here for Friday employee working after 4pm, Time and Half and Double time are to be paid respectively.

Thus, in the case above the employee is a on  24-hour shift, all hours worked should be paid as normal.

Regards

Rashna

Resolved in patch 8. We have changed the rule that creates Friday and Saturday shift to combine with employee's current shift id.

E.g if employee is on shift DS then a combination of FRIDS and SATDS will be used.

Hi Alvis,

I have tested the case in QA2.

I have applied patch 8 and imported the times for October in the PFD database.

Time and 1/2 is still allocated to employee 2982 who is on the 24hour shift.

Maybe we can have a net meeting to further discuss the case.

Regards

Rashna

Hi Alvis,

As per the net meeting, the hours were not correctly calculated because the Friday and Saturday shift for the 24 shift was not created.

We created Shift FRI24 and SAT24 with the time break same as the 24-hour shift where all the 24 hours is set under segment 1.

We imported the times and verified the entry for employee 2982, Shift ID was depicted as FRI24 for the 09/10/2015 and 9.25 hours worked was marked as normal.

This case is now closed.

Regards

Rashna
