Subject: Users password resets when logging into LinkPOS
Summary:    

Users encrypted password and salt changes whenever they login in POS. The decrypted password remains the same, however, with replication, this causes high data volume and mismatch.

Development work for this case has been completed.

The change will be available in version:11.4 & 11.5

1. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information):

  1. Corrected POS login to encrypt the user's password when the password format is 0 (clear text)

2. Affected Areas:

  1. POS login

3. The issue was caused by:

  1. Users password was being encrypted using a different salt each time the user logs into POS.
