Hi Sanjay,

Our Client LTA has advised that i
t takes a lot of time to generate Timesheet Import Log Report, filtered by Absentees. The below standards were needed to generate absent report for western region, but took more than 20 minutes to process yet the report was not generated on site.



I have the set up in QA2, database is in QA4 - CLIENT-LTA-LINKSOFT, VERSION 8180.00.

Sanjeet and Vineet have reviewed for missing indexes but there are none.

Hi Fariha,

We have redesigned the function that extracts absentees data. It now takes 2min to process 1-year data.

Updates are in 8.19 and 8.18.002 (on ftp)

Hi Alvis, 

I tested the case with database CLIENT-LTA-LINKSOFT-8897 on QA4.

  1. Accessed application from QA1.
  2. Applied updates 8180-LINKSOFT_Upgrade_to_8180.002.zip from ftp.
  3. Ran the report for 01/10/2016 to 30/10/2017.
  4. Report Filter - Absentees.

Report under PDF view was not generated, it was running over 15 minutes.

Report under view Crystal Report gives below error in the 9th minute.

Further to our skype conversation, I am unable to generate the Timesheet Log Report, filtered by Absentees with the "View PDF" button. The setup is in QA2 and database - CLIENT-LTA-LINKSOFT is in QA4.

I have advised client that we will apply a temporary update on site in order to generate the yearly Report with "View Crystal report" and once you have the solution for generating yearly report with "View PDF" button, we can update Client accordingly.

I have extended the javascript timeout to resolve the issue.
