Subject: Issue when submitting application in RM
Summary:    

Hi Sanjay, 

We have tested in 8.2.6.

Users are unable to submit the application where the personal information of the applicant is not saved.

Steps to Replication

  1. Register on RM with below Details 
    1. Username - Raja
    2. Full Name - Raja Ram 
    3. Email - Raja@gmail.com.au
  2. After successful registration, log in to RM.
  3. In RM, under Personal Information,by default the full name is loaded under "First Name".
  4. Last Name is not a required field
  5. Type Ram under "Last Name". 
  6. Enter data in the other required fields
  7. At the bottom,  both "Save Personal Information" and "Next" button is enabled.
  8. Click on Next.
  9. Enter the details for "Education". "Experience", "Reference","Attachments" and "Position Requirements".
  10. Submit the Application
  11. When submitting the application system gives an error. See Figure 1.

The error occurs because the applicant has not saved the last name, applicant directly clicked on "Next". This was allowed because "Next" button was enabled, and system did not prompt user to save changes after editing records.

The following has been completed to resolve the issue:

  1. Added a flag to the applicant profile select procedure to identify if profile information is complete.
  2. If the applicant profile is incomplete, we load default values from user registration for the first name, email, and mobile. 
  3. The Next button and Tabs are disabled until the user saves the personal information.
