Subject: Unable to transfer employee from one company 1001 to 1002
Summary:    

Hi Sanjay,

I am unable to transfer employee from one organisation to the other in Menu 421 in both New and Demo database.

I get an error when I transfer Employee from Company 1001 to Company 1002 in both databases. 

Steps to replicate Issue:

  1. Log in to Link backoffice
  2. Browse to Menu 421
  3. Go to Maintain Tab --> Transfer Employee
  4. Select details as in Figure 1 below

The current functionality to transfer an employee from one company to another was not working and the transfer moved information that was not relevant. We have reviewed the functionality for employee transfer and made the following changes:

  1. Employee profile is copied to the new company
  2. Employee rate is copied to the new company
  3. Added Service Type as a selection of transfer employee screen.
  4. The service history will show the current service history only with start date as the date of transfer.
